this is just part of my internal monologue

Wow its been a while,
well I'm back now I know its been like a month since any of you last read my inner most thoughts, so I'm here to give you your fix of me. A lot has happened since my last entry. My brother got married, finally, and is away on his honeymoon in Italy. That's a sweet deal. Get girl to marry you (we don't know how) and then go on a trip to Italy, sounds like fun. So the costume party, or rehearsal dinner whichever you want to call it, was great. My father came as Tavier and my mother came as his wife. They were pretty hilarious, but the best was one of my brothers groomsmen and his wife, they came is my brother and his new wife. It was great he wore a sunbelt plastics shirt (and for anyone who hasn't met me the sunbelt plastics shirt has come to be our family logo) he also stuffed hotel towels in the shirt to make his upper body look big it was hilarious. The other greatest costume was one of my cousins and his wife. They came as SNL Spartan cheerleaders (Will Farrell and Cheri Oteri) and even did a perfect cheer which we taped because it was just that funny night was great, my cousin from New York (who can play the piano making her one of the most talented people in my family) was of course on the piano taking requests of anything from Gershwin's songs from Crazy for You, to Queen's Bohemian rhapsody. Then there was the wedding which was wonderful. After the wedding was a wonderful reception. We were all hanging out singing, dancing, and of course as in any of my family gatherings, lots of food. As the evening wore on, and my brother and his new wife left, I went where else, swimming . Why? Because I have a strange family and we do strange things. So after swimming and a revitilizing sit in the dry sauna I went upstairs to my cousins room and schooled them in the ways of Halo. After beating them to my heart's delight (hehehe) I kinda stopped paying attention during the games and lost ::sigh::. Well then we went back downstairs to sing happy birthday to three of my cousins. In my family we cant just celebrate one event, cause there's practically not a weekend in the year where its not a birthday, anniversary, first communion, etc. I mean, that's impossible with a family my size (and for anyone who doesn't know me there are 56 grandchildren on my moms side alone, yeah were a big Catholic family, what can I say). So after the singing and part of three cakes (which plus groom's cake made four cakes in one night for me) I went back upstairs for some halo. By this time of course we were all hungry again, and why shouldn't we be I mean it was 12:00 am and we hadn't eaten for a couple of hours. So with some help from my aunt who is also my godmother, we ordered pizza. We hang out in the lobby and wait for a half hour or so and bring it back up to a room of nine boys and one girl (all cousins, most from one family) where it was of course, inhaled within 3 minutes or so. I stayed up talking for a while and sometime in the wee hours of the morning I drifted off to sleep, sitting straight up in a chair while my cousins continued playing halo. I did have a nice bed waiting for me just two floors up, but I decided to sleep in the ever-so-comfortable chair in a room with 8 other guys (all cousins of course) We went to Mass the next day and then to breakfast and soon after we all went our separate ways and said the typical "see you at Christmas." It was a great weekend, not much has happened in between then and now but tomorrow I'm going to be leaving for NCYC (National Catholic Youth Conference) which should be 4 days of incredibleness that I have been waiting for since June. I will write back then but I think I've developed carpal tunnel Syndrome from typing and need to get that checked out (ha) bye,

P.S. I know most of you have been in agony as to what I went as to the costume party and I went as a Washington Senator (baseball player not a real senator) from Damn Yankees costume courtesy of Klein Highschool, 1997.
